It's A New Blog!

Hello, friends!  It has been a while since I have posted on my blog.  I have been working on getting some projects put together and there is always something going on to cause distractions.  Today I would like to show a little different version of a memory board.  This one is put together with a 14" wooden frame, foamcore board, memory paper and ribbon.  Last, but not least, CraZy TACKz.  These are the elements that put a little different twist on the memory board.
In the past, I have made these using a bulletin board or corkboard, covered it with poly batting and fabric, then criss-crossed the ribbon to hold mementos and photos.  This project is the same idea, only there is 1/2" of foamcore board behind the memory paper and instead of gluing buttons to where the ribbons cross, you will poke in a decorated CraZy TACKz.  This allows you to hang things on the hook, giving more possibilities to show off more than photos.  You might want to hang your eyeglasses or keys for safe keeping.

My mom used to constantly misplace her partial plate.  She would kill me if she knew I told on her, but she would say..."now where did I put my teeth?"  They weren't her front teeth, obviously, I don't believe she would have taken those out very often.  Lol.  However, she certainly could have used a safe spot to put them...she would have then remembered where they were.  Now that we all have a rather hilarious mental picture, I will show you how this memory board looks when it actually has a few things hanging on it in photo below.

You will have to forgive my watermark.  For some reason when I went to "scale" the size and move it, it was locked.  Worked before, so I don't know what happened. I will fix it later, but just didn't want to mess with it today!

Easter is just around the corner.  We haven't seen much of the pretty side of Spring here in Oregon yet, but I have faith it will sunshine soon!

If you would like to know where to purchase CraZy TACKz and they haven't come to a store near you yet, you can always order directly from the website at www.crazytackz.com/video.  Check out our loops while you are there and peruse the other projects.  We will be adding more projects and ideas as we continue to develop the website.  You can always contact me if you have questions about creating a design you see on here or on the website.

Thanks for stopping by today!  Hope you got a little inspiration and have a great day!
